Cow work: Dry work, flag work and live cattle. You will learn about balance point, flight zone, position, low-stress livestock handling and how to use your horsemanship skills to work cattle effectively.
Ranch roping: You will learn about proper swing and delivery, different shots, groundwork as well as applying horsemanship and stockmanship while roping cattle in a low-stress environment. Dummy practice and live cattle.
Horsemanship: You will learn about how to better understand and how to communicate more effectively with your horse to achieve a confident, willing and safe partner. You will also work on improving the basic fundamentals for advanced maneuvers.
Colt starting: 2 to 4 day clinic. The clinic is for horses that haven't been started or need restarting. It will give you the opportunity to give your horse a solid foundation for a successful future. You will learn about preparing your horse for his first saddling, first mounting and first ride in a safe manner for horse and rider.
Groundwork: This clinic is for horses of any age and level, it may include but not limited to haltering, leading, handling the feet, catching a horse, position, trailer loading etc.
You will work on basic groundwork fundamentals for a respectful and willing horse on the ground, which will make your horse safer and more enjoyable to be around and set you up for more success in the saddle.
Trailer loading: You will learn about how to teach a horse willingly to go on and off the trailer and about solving trailer loading issues.
